oh God! i've been waiting this whole day to blog as i do have lots of things to share in my blog. but i had work to do, The Boss came in for a quick visit and Hubby kept on distracting me and pulling me away from Blogger. so now, i have a bit of time to blog of what i did during the weekends.
Friday
Friday was one of the good days i had. there was a client from Germany who came down to Malaysia to keep himself updated with the project im doing now, and i was surprised to know that he was impressed with our work. and guess what he offered us for a treat? a one month plant trip to Germany! yes people, I and Hubby will be going to Germany anytime as soon as we have trained the incoming engineers. obviously, The Boss was so thrilled and happy to know about the news. and that was in the evening.
night came by, Hubby and I had to rush to meet up with some of his old friends. it was a nice and simple gathering and I was happy to see that Hubby enjoyed himself with his friends. though i feel a little bit awkward being among the guys, but i found myself enjoying the company too. and we ended the gathering late at night with hugs and wishes.
Saturday
we woke up late in the afternoon and within an hour, we were out with one of our housemates. oh, did i tell you that me and Hubby will be staying with one old man? he doesn't look old but he's old enough to be called uncle at our age. im assuming he's around 40 to 5o years old. and he's very wise. and extremely knowledgeable at almost everything. ok, cut the story short. so we went off to Cavenzi to pick our bedroom sets. mine costed around rm1400 which includes a queen size bed with a brand new mattress, a wardrobe, a bedside table and a dressing table with quite a big mirror. also, including the delivery and installation fees. nice huh? i can't believe i can get a Cavenzi bedroom set with such cheap price. and im looking forward to sleep on my new bed, in my new place.
then we went off to pick up a Pakistani couple, Aisha and Zeia. they just moved to Mont Kiara about 2 weeks ago and they wanted to go to Ikea. so, our next destination was Ikea of course. my eyes were rolling up and down, left and right. so excited and thrilled to see all the nice things they have in Ikea. i even had some ideas for my bedroom, thanks to the showrooms in Ikea. and oh, im quite embarrassed to share this but what the heck - i'll just spill it out. we went to the bathroom section and i saw a cute weighing scale. i wanted to tease Hubby bout how heavy he can be, so i asked him to weigh himself on the scale. turned out that he lost another 3 kgs. but still, he was overweight for his height. so i confidently stepped on the scale, thinking that my weight would just go to 48kg, the maximum. Hubby laughed his head off when he saw the scale. i looked down and i saw 55kg. WTF??!! i put up about 10kgs!! and i still think the weighing scale is damaged. i won't accept the fact that im overweight! *grunts*
anyways, we went back to Aisha's place and oh-my-God! the place is very, very beautiful! i fell in love the moment i saw the whole place. it looks like a luxurious condo, when it is actually just a medium-cost apartment! and they're staying at the 23rd floor. the view was splendid. the breeze was cooling. well, if anyone of you would like to stay there, Aisha is offering the fully-furnished master bedroom at a price of rm600. let me know, and i will tell them yeah? they invited us for supper (which supposed to be dinner) and we had great time talking and laughing the night away. we only went back home at abour 3 am. exhausted, but we had fun.
Sunday
me and Hubby planned to relax at home but we suddenly remembered that we had to go buy me a new phone. so off to Midvalley. bought the phone and thought of surveying the prices for curtains and comforter sets. we went to Jaya Jusco since Carrefour didn't have much choices. and guess what? we were lucky enough to get for ourselves comforter sets, made from high quality chiffon silk at only rm150. so we were like running around, so excited to see the sales for comforter sets, rugs, carpets, and curtains. Hubby instantly turned into a shopaholic woman after seeing all these things on sales. *giggles* another thing to look forward - to sleep on silk that was originally at a price of rm700. we only got back at the guesthouse late evening.
today, The Boss came in with better news. she informed that we may be leaving to Germany mid of February, that's the earliest. and we have another project in hand. Hubby was extremely happy, and so was i. it's true of what they say - life is like a wheel. sometimes you're down, other times you would be up. i was down a week ago, and now good things are coming to me.
but still, i can't accept the fact that i had put on extra 10kgs! the heaviest in my record was 48kgs. and now, im 55kgs - which is an obvious overweight. i need to diet. i need to restore my hyperactive metabolism. no wonder i can't fit into most of my clothes anymore.
so, how was your weekends?
