give us a break, will ya?

Last 2 weeks:
Monday till Friday : work and pressured.
Saturday and Sunday : Was called in to help with some stupid project reports and proposals.

Last week:
Monday to Friday : again, more work and more pressured.
Saturday and Sunday : was called in early of Saturday morning, and was told to run errands like some mad fellas for The Boss. ended up in a pile of nothing. yeah, The Boss spoiled the weekend totally.

Yesterday : Whole day of driving to and from Semenyih only to reach home (finally!) after 3 am. Lunch at 7.30 pm and dinner at 3 am. yeah, life-cycle was totally screwed up. Thanks, Boss.

Today : came to work a bit late at 11.45 noon. now waiting for another day of torture of working till in the wee hours.

That was what me and Hubby did. seriously, knowing the loads of work The Boss put on us, you would be so surprised if i tell you that we're underpaid. thanks to the world economic crisis and recession, i wouldn't want to take the risk of changing my job now. there are millions of fresh graduates who are jobless now, and i don't want to be among them. so yeah, i've got no choice but to quietly execute my tasks.

but i really have pity for Hubby. tomorrow, he has to go to Senawang, which is farther than Semenyih, and execute a project there. which also requires him to work during the weekends. he looks like a twice-died zombie now. he can hardly walk now, and The Boss is sending him off for an off-site project tomorrow. working everyday including weekends.

now, im really having the urge to call The Boss on behalf of Hubby, and tell her that he's not fit enough at the moment. nevermind working for the project, he's not even fit enough to talk to anyone.

we're so fed-up with The Boss' addiction of being too dependant on us. too much of dependance is bad. and we're not even the favourites.

in short, we need and we surely deserve a one-week break.
