what word best describe an act of swimming under the water like diving, but not actually diving?

i am wondering now if DiGi has a broadband service? you know, somewhat like Celcom and Maxis has. cause i need to get online when im at home cause im bored at home doing nothing.

so last Friday, since i couldn't tolerate anymore with watching DVDs on my lappy, or talking to Hubby while he's playing game and fell asleep in the end - i dragged Hubby to check out the swimming pool at the residence. we didn't put in so much of hope as we knew that most pools in residence are not kept well. not cleaned enough. so Hubby changed his mind and told me to go check out myself. and to my surprise, the pool was freaking clean. not even a single leaf in the pool. it was so crystal clear and it has different depths; starting from 0.9 metres which elongates to the depth of 1.5 metres.

without wasting any more time, i dashed upstairs and pull Hubby down the stairs to the pool. oh, forgot to tell. i can't swim. i don't know how to swim. seriously. but what is weird is that i can dive. oh, i don't know what word should i use to describe this : i immerse my body, not floating like you should do when swimming. ok, imagine swimming and diving at the same time. got it? i had to hold my breathe and dive in, and swim while diving. yes, something like that. and yes, i moved. swimming under the water, not above the water like others do.

so anyway, i didn't care how silly i looked to the three other visitors there. i could see that they're quite good swimmers, but i don't give a damn. i pay my rent, i pay the utilities fees, and so i deserve to use the pool just like others too, right?

it was sooooooooo relaxing in the pool that i am planning to go to the pool every night after coming back from work. just to take my mind off work and relax. and i need to get myself a swimming suit too. Hubby and i did go to Midvalley to survey some, and i was interested in one particular suit. eh, wait. it was not a suit. it was a bikini *grinning*

so now, i hope i get my paycheque early or on time cause that bikini has only 3 stocks left. i want to grab them for myself!
